"The Notenhobler" from Munich, Germany, is a traditional boygroup founded in November 1985 by Uwe Ninow (trumpet) and Martin Wies (baritone, bass), and some friends from the music club "Wiblingen" at the age of 14. In the past two decades, the band has been circumnavigating the globe for various music performances.

Since 1994, The Notenhobler has been the official band in the Marco Polo German Bierfest in Hong Kong. The band wears original Oberkrainer clothes, and climaxes every night with shows, competitions, hearty folk music as well as games.
